The
Yale Invite provided great excitement. The Boys
 4x400(Caffery,
Hanrahan, Lonsdale, Ray) and Boys 4x800 (Kaplan, Lonsdale,
Hanrahan, Caffery) ran solid early season times and captured
gold in each race. Remi Ray won two individual races. He set a
new school record in the 800m(1:54.42 ) and the 300m(35.34).

the CIAC Sports Website...The CIAC Scholar-Athlete Program
annually recognizes two high school seniors - one boy and one
girl - from each member high school whose academic and athletic
careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and
achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels
of integrity, self-discipline and courage. Our Staples'
representatives for 2006 were announced in January: they
are Katrina Ellison (volleyball & softball) and Jason
Hanrahan(cross country, indoor & outdoor).
